I was writing a fairly long query, not realizing I was in the wrong configuration. When
I needed to execute it, I switched configurations only to lose all of the work I put into
the query!
I think this should instead be handled by allowing the user to switch back and forth
between configurations without affecting the contents of the editor itself.
