Also note than a LOB is lazy by definition already, so it just ends up doing an extra job
for nothing.

It is unbelievable! The @Basic annotation has a FetchType attribute, but @Lob missed it!
Didn't the JPA people think about it?
I believe a new Hibernate annotation (org.hibernate.annotations.Lob) is needed for such
attributes.
