I already have the impl code, but not part of BasicAttribute, I added it to
MappedAttribute, since it also can be used in @Embedded, i was thinking we need a
ComponentAttribute once steve push his ComponentAttributeSource.

Great. _MappedAttribute_ is fine. I did not mean the _BasicAttribute_ class specifically,
but rather support for what JPA calls basic attributes (I guess in Hibernate we would say
singular/simple). Anyways, great that you've done the work :-) One less annotation to
worry about.
