Steve Ebersole resolved HHH-5866.
---------------------------------
Resolution: Rejected
Fix Version/s: (was: 4.0.0.Alpha1)
I believe this is obsolete now with the proxy and binding based impl inside
ServiceRegsitryImpl
ServiceRegistry is not thread-safe
----------------------------------
Key: HHH-5866
URL:
http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/hibernate/browse/HHH-5866
Project: Hibernate Core
Issue Type: Bug
Components: core
Reporter: Emmanuel Bernard
ServiceRegistryImpl uses a HashMap which is not thread-safe.
Services can be initialized lazily which means several threads can end up asking for the
same service in //
The implementation needs to guard against that.
note that using a ConcurrentHashMap is not good enough as we probably don't want the
same service type to be initialized multiple times.
