This bug is basically solved. Steve, check SVN 10236 and 10237 and close it.
This is mainly useful for EJB 3 since PERSIST_ON_FLUSH is the operation cascaded on a
flush operation and it allows NoCascade.
Still I think this bug can be reproduced on the regular hibernate core operations

Hi, can someone advice if this issue had been addressed to fixed? From what I see under
the comments that this issue is still reproducible in regular core opertations. Currently
I did hit this issue and I'm working with Hibernate 3.2.7.
Please let me know if this issue has completely gotten fixed in this version or in higher
version.
