AbstractFlushingEventListener logs StaleObjectStateExceptions as
ERRORs
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: HHH-537
URL:
http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/hibernate/browse/HHH-537
Project: Hibernate Core
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: core
Affects Versions: 3.0.5
Reporter: Frank Grimes
Priority: Minor
Would it be possible to leave it up to the application layer to decide if a
StaleObjectStateException warrants a log ERROR message or not?
Since for some applications StaleObjectStateExceptions are expected and recoverable, why
fill the logs up with unnecessary ERROR messages?

Thanks.
