The syntax is as follows: ORDER BY [COLUMN NAME] [ASC | DESC] [NULLS FIRST | NULLS LAST] In different DBs, the sorting of nulls relative to other values is handled differently. PostgreSQL - Nulls are considered HIGHER than non-nulls.
