Keith Bennett commented on HHH-2850:
------------------------------------
We are also running into the same problem. It does not work with Hibernate 3.2.6 GA and
the DB2390Dialect. I even tried configuring bogus values (e.g., true 'abc',false
'xyz'), and the keyword true is still converted to 1 in the actual SQL.
boolean substitution does not work
----------------------------------
Key: HHH-2850
URL:
http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/hibernate/browse/HHH-2850
Project: Hibernate3
Issue Type: Bug
Components: query-sql
Affects Versions: 3.2.5
Environment: Windows XP, Hibernate 3.2.5, Derby
Reporter: Ivo Abeloos
Priority: Minor
In hibernate configuration we have configured the following key:
hibernate.query.substitutions=true '1', false '0', yes 'Y', no
'N'
When the AST is transformed into SQL, the true is substituted by 1 instead of the
'1' characters.
After some examination we saw that the BooleanLiteralNode just uses the dialect to
replace the boolean value and ignores the tokenReplacements of the QueryTranslatorImpl.
