JSR 223 might be an interesting approach to this. Essentially allow any scripting
language to be used on the wire level, and have Infinispan use JSR 223 to parse the map
and reduce functions and process accordingly. Type declaration (MIME type?) would be
needed on the wire protocol, and the Infinispan backends would need to be configured to
support specific JSR 223 implementations.
