This issue does not say which marshaller, but if it's the compat mode marshaller
we're talking about, that is already deployed in server.
So closing it as 'outdated' is more approppriate than' won't fix'

It should be possible to deploy custom marshallers to the server so that they can be used
e.g. in compatibility mode.
