It can not be higher than <stateRetrieval>:timeout which is 10000 TransportType: protected Long distributedSyncTimeout = 240000L; // default (in EDG this is overriden to 60000) StateRetrievalType: protected Long timeout = 240000L; when HotRodServer creates its topology cache, it supplies default value of 10000 (see TOPO_REPL_TIMEOUT_DEFAULT in https://github.com/infinispan/infinispan/blob/master/server/core/src/main...) but this leads to above WARN message.
