However, the subsequent remote command will cause the TransactionManager to throw an exception with: javax.transaction.NotSupportedException: BaseTransaction.checkTransactionState - ARJUNA016051: thread is already associated with a transaction! After that, no remote transaction will succeed. If another site uses this site with the backup policy of SYNC, no writes will succeed.
