Mircea Markus updated ISPN-490:
-------------------------------
Summary: hotrod client:cache the name of the remote cache to avoid String 2
byte[] conversion (was: hotrod client:cache name on write on )
Assignee: Mircea Markus (was: Manik Surtani)
Fix Version/s: 4.1.0.CR1
Affects Version/s: 4.1.0.BETA2
Description:
Email from galder:
About half. 1.5% reading the byte array and 1.5% converting it to UTF-8. The problem is
that I need to get a cache out of it, so somehow you need to map that byte[] to the cache
that it maps to. I have doubts whether creating a UTF-8 string and then getting a cache
out of it is worse than having to maintain a mapping between byte[] and the target cache.
