If an interceptor for lifecycle callbacks declares an interceptor binding type that is defined @Target({TYPE, METHOD}), the con- tainer automatically detects the problem and treats it as a definition error. TransactionalInterceptor has lifecycle methods and a @Transactional binding (which is defined @Target({TYPE, METHOD})). Resolution: Define TransactionalInterceptor as @Target({TYPE}) - it is not applied on methods anyway.
