The structure of the test is as follows: ---------- import javax.ejb.Local; @javax.ejb.Local public interface FeederService { public void refillFood(); public boolean adequateFood(); } ------------------------ @Stateless @WebService public class BirdFeederService implements FeederService { ... } -------------- @Stateless public class CommonKingfisher implements Bird { @WebServiceRef private FeederService birdFeeder; public void eat() { birdFeeder.refillFood(); } -------------------- The use of @WebServiceRef is not portable because FeederService is not a JAX-WS SEI.
