We are currently working on the next version of the archetype which will use the
org.jboss.spec:jboss-javaee-6.0 stack pom. That will pull in JPA 2.

If I'm not mistaken the full-EE archetype speaks of JPA 2 but the deps seem to point
to JPA 1. Also, it would be nice to have the hibernate static metamodel generator plugged
in and a simple typesafe query example for JPA 2
