But I didn't get any WARN log during my "chat", only at shutdown.
Does it still help? Otherwise I can try to catch this when getting WARNings during chat.

Can you try using dtruss for kevent:
1. Start server
2. Get PID (jps)
3. sudo dtruss -f -t kevent -p PID 2> truss.log
