Sorry for yet another email but there were reports of a bytecode
verification issue in a very specific case for Weld 5.0.0.Final.
We have investigated the cause and released a quick fix - Weld 5.0.0.SP1.

If you run into problems, try upgrading to this version. In case you find
more issues, don't hesitate to reach out so that we can fix it ASAP.

compatible implementation, has been released and is now available in Maven
Central.
The release is based on the CR2 version with several changes.
