Does it find your arquillian.xml at all ?
It's normally located in src/test/resources, but anywhere on the classpath should do.
Depends on your IDE I guess if non .java files are actually moved to classpath from
src/test/java

It is useful for debugging to have Arquillian export the Archive it is about to deploy,
specially in IN_CONTAINER mode.
Create a ArchiveExporter EventHandler on class level and make the export folder
configurable.
If option is not set: don't export
