Joseph Marques commented on HBX-901:
------------------------------------
After rereading this issue, I want to make sure that I convey it is NOT about how to show
and group query parameters into groups (perhaps I should have attached these to HBX-897
instead.
This issue really was intended to focus on the notion of generating the elements to be put
into the Query Parameters view dynamically. In other words, the user doesn't have to
click the "add / remove" buttons anymore - the queries are added / removed
on-the-fly as you type queries into the editor.
Automatic / Live addition of query parameters

Key: HBX-901
URL:
http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/hibernate/browse/HBX-901
Project: Hibernate Tools
Type: New Feature
Versions: 3.2beta8
Reporter: Joseph Marques
Attachments: MultiQueryHQLEditor.png, MultiQueryHQLEditorHightlighted.png
Instead of the user having to click on the ":p-with-a-plus-sign" icon in the
upper right-hand corner of the Query Parameters view, it would be incredibly useful and
significantly impressive if the list could be generated auto-matically, on-the-fly, as
I'm constructing the query in the editor.
In the multi-query HQL editor (see HBX-896), assuming the Query Parameters are somehow
grouped or separated (see my comment from Feb 23, 2007 in HBX-897), each block would be
individually but still dynamically (on-the-fly) generated / controlled by the current
query being worked on in the editor - see attachment.
