I think I discussed it on IRC with Hardy and Strong some time ago and I did the attached patch. It contains one problem though: the nThreads is set from 15 to 1, but it should still be 15 (I did several scenarios in my tests, and I forgot to reset this value to the original). This patch was done for some EAP branch, so, not sure it fits trunk.
