Yeah, fixC was fail on my side. With xmls removed it works nicely(I hope I’m not
overlooking anything), both in MWE and in our app. This is great, thanks for this
workaround and lot of time/typing invested into me 🙂 I tried to debug HibernateValidator
code myself, but it was very deep for first sight with no prior knowledge of code.
regarding 3) yes it’s not ideal, but considering there is programmatic approach which can
replace the xml, maybe the xml isn’t that needed whatsoever. But for older projects or
projects which cannot be sure what BeanValidation provider they get, maybe. I don’t know.
