> In the 4 node, dist mode, num-owners=2, elasticity test
> http://www.qa.jboss.com/~mlinhard/hyperion/run44-elas-dist/
> there is a cca 90 sec period of time where clients get null responses to GET
> requests on entries that should exist in the cache.
> first occurence:
> hyperion1139.log 05:31:01,202 286.409
> last occurence:
> hyperion1135.log 05:32:45,441 390.648
> total occurence count: (in all 19 driver nodes)
> 152241
> (this doesn't mean it happens for 152K keys, because each key is retried after
> erroneous attempt)
> data doesn't seem to be lost, because these errors cease after a while and
> number of entries returns back to normal (see cache_entries.csv)
> this happens approximately in the period between node0001 is killed and cluster
> {node0002 - node0004} is formed (and shortly after).

> When the cache manager is stopped together with all caches, the static field {{BackupReceiverRepositoryImpl.backupReceivers}} is not cleaned up. When another cache manager is started and we try to XS replicate into this node, the request reaches {{BackupReceiver}} with references to the old, stopped cache. This instance has TERMINATED ComponentRepository without {{TransactionTable}} and this results in {{NullPointerException}} in {{BackupCacheUpdater.replayModificationsInTransaction}}.
> When the cache is stopped, it should remove all references to it from the {{BackupReceiverRepositoryImpl.backupReceivers}}.

> I've added new test, which uses the following Infinispan configuration: REPL_SYNC clustering mode, with transaction enabled, as well as enabled indexing with InfinispanIndexManager.
> The test adds several nodes with the described configuration, adds entries to different nodes, and checks that the query for the entries returns the same result for all nodes.
> Then master node is killed, and then again new data is inserted and checked on all nodes. (Similiar test to https://github.com/infinispan/infinispan/blob/master/query/src/test/java/... but with enabled transaction).

> Test case available in here [1]
> When a transaction commits, the write skew check performs the validation by casting the cache entry to a ClusteredRepeatableReadEntry. However, the entry is a DeltaAwareCacheEntry.
> This happens when you have operations over a map inside a transaction.
> The tests failing are:
> WriteSkewFineGrainedAtomicMapAPITest.testSizeOnCache()
> WriteSkewFineGrainedAtomicMapAPITest.testCreateMapInTx()

[~mlinhard] [~dan.berindei] this exception is received on a node that is broadcasting a TopologyControllCommand (e.g. consistent hash update, rebalance start). By the look of code this is sent synchronously and should impact the command execution. Does't this affect the rebalancing in any way?
