Description:
The {{RemoteCacheManager}}'s {{ConfigurationBuilder}} allows you to set a classloader, but the client ignores that classloader when unmarshalling values received from the server.

The '+' characters are almost certainly from URL-encoding. We use RESTEasy on the server, which takes care of unescaping keys for us, so my first guess would be that the data was inserted via REST and the REST client URL-encoded it twice.
[~william.burns] I agree, even if the cache had preloading enabled, preloading would have used the {{CACHE_MODE_LOCAL}} flag, so this write must be coming from somewhere else. And based on the '+', I would say it's probably from a REST client.
The eviction-related stack frames are easy to explain: the attached configuration is the configuration of the "cache manager" nodes, which don't use eviction, but the exception comes from an "app server" node, which does have eviction enabled ("The app servers keep 20,000 records in the cache and the rest in a file store.")
