[~pruivo], looks like the TODO you removed in {{VersionGeneratorFactory}} was still relevant :)
Looks like client listeners never worked with write-skew check enabled, but all of our client listener tests had it disabled (or used pessimistic/non-transactional caches).
[~sebastian.laskawiec], as a workaround, you can disable write-skew check and versioning by changing the transaction isolation level to {{READ_COMMITTED}}.

The Maven build works fine, but the IntelliJ import doesn't see the new source directory because of the missing {{phase}} element. This makes compilation from IntelliJ fail even when the Java sources were generated earlier with Maven.

This doesn't happen if a cache is **not** transactional. That's why I assigned this you Pedro :)

This didn't happen in {{CR2}} release, so there must be something that changed since then. I also noticed that this sometimes leads to exceptions in the Hot Rod client.

The various collection methods (entrySet, keySet and values) on the DataContainer are very inconsistent causing possible confusion of their usage. All usages of these methods in the code base could instead use iterator or iteratorIncludingExpired methods. We should deprecate the collection methods for preparation of removing them in 10.
