There is a related problem with the {{GET_MULTIMAP_REQUEST}} response: the status is never {{KEY_DOES_NOT_EXIST_STATUS}} (0x02), even if the key does not exist. The client API doesn't return an {{Optional}}, so it's not possible to see the difference, but from the rest of the server code I don't think it's meant to return {{NO_ERROR_STATUS}} (0x00) all the time.

The current cachestore-rocksdb is missing RocksDB's metrics which makes debugging it a painful experience. RocksDB's JNI provides a Statistics export which allows to view the internal metrics of RocksDB also to help in debugging issues or tuning it for better performance / memory usage / etc
