"Edit this page" links

RIM recently launched a github-baked community wiki for BlackBerry. One of the highlights of the site is the "Edit this page" link. It directs the visitor to the file in the github repository where the "Edit this file" button can be found [1] to guide them through the edit, commit and pull request workflow. http://blackberry.github.com/Community/Community_Wiki.html (see the link in the sidebar) I think this would be a great feature for the jdf site. It really raises awareness that the pages are editable. Aslak sketched out a patch [2] that would provide this functionality for arquillian.org that you can use as a starting point (it's still sitting in a pull request). TicketMonster tutorial feedback

Hi All, Here's my feedback on the latest ticketmonster tutorial: __Introduction & Getting Started__ * javaee6-web-project * Is this kitchensink, or a blank project? * Screenshot is showing kitchensink, but it also shows adding venues, events, etc... * That part just seemed a little confusing is all * http://www.jboss.org/jdf/stage/examples/ticket-monster/tutorial/Introduct... * "Add a jquery Mobile client application" * The AeroGear reference is good, would it be appropriate to also link to quickstart page as well? * Inter-site linking could be useful * The Conclusion might want to mention the JSF app and other parts as well as HTML5 * Only the last couple of sections was on building HTML5 mobile app * http://www.jboss.org/jdf/stage/examples/ticket-monster/tutorial/Introduct... __BusinessLogic__ * Really like the tutorial! * JAX-RS Sevices section * As you mention how critical the HTML5 view layer is, it might be good to link to/mention more info * AeroGear and/or next tutorial (HTML5 UI) __UserFrontEnd__ * As I've said before I think this is a great tutorial! * Honestly one of the best I've seen! * Device detection section * I prefer "feature detection" which imo is more accurate * I appreciate the link AeroGear there :-)

JDF Launch plans

All, Please have any changes in by 1PM eastern today, so that Marius, Jason and myself have time to tag the relevant artifacts, do a linking review etc. We plan to launch at 6AM eastern tomorrow (Tuesday)
