As I stopgap I think it's fine to push live, but I would prefer it be
something that doesn't cover so much of the content. It's not bad on the
carnival photo, but it really covers up the TicketMonster poster slide and
takes away the smooth look on the clock slide.
I also noticed when we had that ribbon on
arquillian.org for a while that
the quality of the original graphic is really not that great, not the best
starting point.
I think a much better approach to take to the design group is to do a
bottom 3rd line (like you see on news or sports programs on TV). Search for
"news interview" on
images.google.com and see something that looks like:
