Ah, so it' "User" entity from Keycloak DB, not your own? Yes, that is
supported. See docs [1] and example [2] .

Thank you for replying Marek!
We don't have an existing DB with our entities, but in order to fill the requirements
for older applications we have we need to add custom entities to Keycloak which have to be
linked to the User entity (just like the Group entities). Are these custom mappings
something you support or would you still recommend creating our own User Provider?

If you already have some existing entity (which means that you have some existing DB with
your entities), then it's probably best to write your own userStorage provider. See
docs and examples for more details (The docs is work in progress though)
