WildFly 28 Schedule

We've been working on WildFly 28 for quite a while now, and we're at the
point where we have some clarity on the release schedule. (Actually we hit
this point a while ago but I've been out sick and this email is past due!)
Here's what we are aiming for:
1) All feature PRs ready for merge – Wed Mar 22
2) All beta PRs ready for merge – Fri Mar 24
3) WildFly 28 Beta Tag – Wed Mar 27
4) WildFly 28 Beta Deliverables available to users – Thur Mar 28
5) WildFly 28 Final PRs ready for merge - Fri Apr 7
6) WildFly 28 Final Tag - Wed Apr 12
7) WildFly 28 Final Deliverables ready – Thur Apr 13

WildFly 29.0.0.Alpha1

Today is my day for posting about schedule stuff.

is about big picture; now a more tactical post.
I'd like to do a 29.0.0.Alpha1 on about May 1 or 2. This would be like some
of the alpas we did for 27; minimal effort and fuss, just build and deploy
the server to maven and provide any other deliverables that folks have the
time and inclination to do.
The reason for this is because this month there's likely to be a fair
amount of code re-organizing and deprecated code removal work going on, and
perhaps some feature work in the provisioning area. We're aiming to get the
bulk of that done this month, and I've heard from some folks that having an
alpha in maven that incorporates that work will be helpful.
I figure we'd want PRs that would go into the alpha to be ready for merge
by the 26-27th.
These are not at all precise dates.
