If you read the stack trace, it appears that the bug is in the JDK itself. Furthermore, it is triggered by Hibernate, not WildFly. Is there a Hibernate JIRA opened for this issue? That is the right place to report it; if they agree it's a JDK issue then the JDK bug tracker is the next step, ideally followed by an OpenJDK patch. -- - DML

I'd have to look into the expectation of java.lang.reflect.Method#getGenericReturnType in regards to a method like the ones noted.
