Hey Krishna, for Hawkular we require possible students to contribute some non-trivial code (i.e. more than just fixing a typo) in order to be considered. Apart from that you should probably best check out Hawkular and build it and also build the Android client to get a feel. Then when the student submissions start on March 14th, you should submit a proposal with a detailed time line on when you want to achieve what. To get started you can use a pre-built hawkular server and only build the Android client from source. The current master version of Hawkular (will be released soonish) has such a generic inventory browser to walk through the inventory graphs and then pick metrics to chart. That can probably also help in getting started with the thinking of the Android idea. Hth for the start Heiko
