The key part is that it is optional. I think we already have some pretty
nice tag filtering, but if we want a lot more search capabilities, then
I think looking at integration with ES or similar tools makes sense.
This would need to be a pluggable layer with our current impl being the
default.
I understood that it would be optional. I'm not convinced though that we
couldn't offer these new capabilities with the tools the container and
Cassandra already provide. That is why I would like to know if these
solutions have been explored, and why it wouldn't work.
