Subject: Re: [Hawkular-dev] Cassandra & Titan
This is maybe good and bad for us. It means that depending on a graph
DB may be well supported in the future DSE Graph offering, but for now
it would seem that Titan will not get much TLC past this point. So if we
go with Titan we may need to be happy with what we see today.
The Metrics project will to move to Cassandra 3 as soon as possible (fuzzy timeline but on
it's on the horizon). Titan currently advertises support for Cassandra 2.0.8, which is
older than 2.1.x used by Metrics. So from the perspective of being happy with what is
there, Titan is already considerably behind. This acquisition really puts a dent on Titan
