Thanks for the explanation, my mistake was that I have removed the cascade PERSIST on the SpecialProduct side and not on the SpecialPricePoint side … I think we can close this issue. In the sql logs I do not see any delete query for SpecialProductServiceWithoutCacheTest. shouldDeleteProduct. I also tried to remove the MERGE cascade but it did not change anything.
