This is the <id column="my_id">...</id> syntax (notice no 'name' attribute). It then exposes several methods on the session to handle these entities by explicitly passing in the identifier value, so that Session.save(myEntity) becomes Session.save(myEntity, myEntityId). All such methods need to get moved to classic.Session and marked for deprecation. No scheduled removal of feature as of yet.
