I handle this in the jandex-binding code explicitly...
Personally I think HCANN should handle it as well. But I am also fine
saying that we won't fix this until jandex-binding gets applied upstream,
although I do think HCANN should at least throw an exception as already
mentioned.

Ok so indeed that's an ambiguous case. An exception is probably a good
idea if none of the properties are marked @Transient
