It would be nice to provide a configuration property to limit the keep-alive, e.g.: hibernate.search.backend.max_keep_alive See com.amazonaws.http.conn.SdkConnectionKeepAliveStrategy for a nice implementation of what we need, and the link above for how to set that strategy.
