Galder Zamarreño updated ISPN-380:
----------------------------------
Attachment: compiler-bug.zip
This smells like a compiler bug and in fact it's very similar to
http://hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk6/jdk6/langtools/rev/0090ffbf6d32
Find attached a small mvn project that replicates the issue with javac 1.6.0_22. Simply
install the processor and then try compiling the annotated project. You'll see the
same error:
{code}[ERROR]
/Users/z/Go/demos/compiler-bug/annotated/src/main/java/galder/compilerbug/Transformable.java:[17,72]
incompatible types
found : java.lang.Class<galder.compilerbug.DefaultTransformer>
required: java.lang.Class<? extends galder.compilerbug.Transformer>{code}
I'm gonna try with latest 1.6.0_24 and see if the issue is still there. Otherwise, the
workaround that might work would be to go from Class<? extends Transformer> to
Class. That seems to get the compiler happy.
Be compliant with JBoss AS logging requirements
