Yes, both @Inject and @Input@Inject work for Mapper.
For Reducer: @Inject works fine, the default cache is injected, but the cache variable
annotated with @Inject@Input is null. Shouldn't in this case it be at least default
cache and not null?
The current cache is not injected into Reducer

The current cache is not injected into Reducer.
The cache is not injected at all when the @Input annotation is used.
