Hi I have started working on a prototype for reporting metrics from an OpenTracing client via a Prometheus endpoint. However one of the first things we need to do is define the set of metrics that should be reported and a naming scheme. An issue has been created here: https://github.com/opentracing-contrib/java-metrics/issues/1 It would be good to get input from the Hawkular Metrics team to get an optimal solution for the h-metrics backend.
