I ran into the same error, my work-around was to change the packaging type back to jar and
forge went on it's merry way, then I was able to add the web resource facet, I'll
try again and see if I encounter the same problem when I re-open the project.

With the latest sources I get an error while opening existing projects. See below the
steps to reproduce. My .forge directory is clean.

project install-facet forge.spec.jsf
exit
mvn exec:java
cd ~/tmp/forge-projects/test4/

installed.
