but shouldn't prevent installation should it ?
i.e. if JSF 2.2 comes out then old servers could still be able to run it with the right
libraries in your project.
just like I can run jsf on tomcat even though tomcat doesn't supports it.

Fair point. Perhaps it should do something intelligent based on the app server. For
example I think with older JBoss AS, bundling the JSF libraries could cause class
conflicts with JSF that was provided, but bundling with Tomcat would be alright. Maybe
the feedback provided should be tailored to the specific app server and the capabilities
available.
