hardcoded file references.
I did not think we still had this so it becomes a very good question.
How did Exadel do this with Exadel studio ?

That's related to http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBIDE-1820. I fully
agree and information loaded form org.jboss.tools.jst.web.xml should be
collected from java/facet. I asked Slava to look at it.

For JSF projects, solving JBIDE-1714, I have eliminated file
/.settings/org.jbosstools.jst.web.xml
so it is not a problem anymore.
For Struts projects dependency of Studio implementation on this file is rather strong
so that eliminating it would require some extensive refactoring. Do we need to solve
the problem for Struts, nevertheless, or is not it worth efforts?

Until now I thought we were just duplicating the list of jar deps and source folders,
but I did not realize we were using fully specified filesystem specific paths. That is
really really bad.
That is why i'm interested in hearing how exadel studio users were recommended to
workaround
this issue (since I assume it was also an issue in exadel studio)

There are no filesystem specific paths, they are all related to current
project in eclipse workspace.
That is why i'm interested in hearing how exadel studio users
were recommended to workaround

I'm referring to I can open files in non wtp projects and the editors almost work.
Before I assume it just ignored that there were no .settings info for it and just
want to be sure it now does not assume it will be in an WTP project.

Then path in our xml was absolute. Though, in earlier Eclipse
versions, one could not select any jar, only those under 'lib' folder,
but location of that folder could be anywhere on disk and
