New and Noteworthy for CR1
by Max Rydahl Andersen
It's that time again - we should make sure the newandworthy part of our docs have the recent updates.
I've created https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-8156 with subtasks for each component; as always
if no relevant news then simply reject the issue as outdated and otherwise add appropriate content to
new and noteworthy in trunk/documentation/whatsnew
Deadline: ASAP - since I need to merge/edit for public release next week.
Thank you!

Hudson is back up and running well after this weekend's planned outage
by Nick Boldt
FYI. All systems appear nominal after this weekend's planned outage.
---
A few jobs [1]. [2] are still red after the reboot, but most are due to
one slave's disk being full, which has been corrected (JBIDE-8120). A
few appear to be JUnit test failures which SHOULD be ok if respun on
another slave (JBIDE-8065).

Hi All,
I talking to Alex and reading the emails, here's the status:
Verification Checklist AFTER the Power Outage:
1. Review Hudson slaves are connected and executing jobs
(Vojtech/Alex): Tomas investigating slaves that are Down
2. Plugins are loaded (Vojtech/Alex): OK
3. Time trigger is working (Vojtech/Alex) OK
4. SVN polling is working (Vojtech/Alex): OK
5. Builds are being published on public Hudson (Vojtech/Alex): OK
6. Hudson dirs are backup (Tomas): Tomas to update.
Hopefully we'll keep the call short so we can use the time to
investigate/resolve the open items.
Thanks,

Code freeze now active on trunk + upcoming branching in 24hrs
by Max Rydahl Andersen
Hi,
JBoss Tools SVN and related external branches is now code frozen on trunk except for issues already set as fix for 3.2.CR1 or 3.2.Final.
In 24 hrs (15:00 UTC, Wednesday 12th) Nick Boldt will branch JBoss Tools SVN for 3.2.x. (note: note it is *not* just 3.2.0.CR1).
When Nick have branched (he will send out email with details) you have to put fixes in both branch and trunk if targeted to be in a 3.2.<something> release.
Once Nick Boldt have done this and matching Hudson jobs are up and running we'll send out mail about trunk and branch codefreeze status. ETA: tomorrow or thursday.
For code outside jboss tools SVN - please be sure you are in sync with this with respect to the build integration!
Thank you,

Weld jars don't have beans.xml's
by Alexey Kazakov
Hi Max,
Could you please comment https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-8019
We have a problem with CDI beans defined in weld jars.
Weld jars don't have beans.xml in META-INF so we don't load them
according to JSR-299.
I raised this question in seam-dev chat but have not received any answer
yet. It would be good to solve the problem in CR1. See the JIRA for details.
