That 'model' classpath was used to compile the project, to run user's ant tasks, etc. To avoid locking jars in project, we copied them to a temporary directory to files marked to be deleted on exit. Now that project class path is managed by Eclipse, that functionality of XModel is obsolete and must be removed.
