[~cathat] I am wondering how even were you able to connect to devenv without setting jsse.enableSNIExtension. I have never been able to connect to DEVENV without setting it to false.

[~cathat] ok, thanks for looking that up. So you definitely shouldnt be able to connect to the devenv without that flag in eclipse.ini. You should run into an "unknown error, please refer to the logs for further details" in the connection wizard. I ran into this known "issue" when trying to connect to your devenv using Win8/JBDS. I had to add the flag in eclipse.ini (and that's why I explicitly added that step above). If you could connect without it then I'm very puzzled how you managed that.
Can you please try to reproduce it?
1) remove the flag in eclipse.ini
2) try to connect.
If you run into the error mentioned above things behave as expected. If you can connect, dont get the error there's something very unexpected.
I take as granted that once you had the flag in eclipse.ini, you always had the quickstarts listed, right?
