Got the error again after restart jboss it hangs with "compressing war...". After eclipse restart jboss does not start with:
An internal error occurred during: "Publishing to JBoss AS 7.1...".

Restarted eclipse, removed and added the war and started jboss...it works now again.

The following would be useful:
1) Launch via eclipse, then in a terminal, do a ps -ax to get the full command line used for launch
2) shutdown the server
3) Launch via command line
4) Do a ps -ax to get the full command launched with
The goal here is to verify there's no substantial difference in the launch args.
