> When creating an OpenShift application with a database cartridge, the database password is shown in clear text. This password should be obscured.
> It was noted that OpenShift does show clear text passwords in some locations, the difference here is that the user did not prompt for this information meaning we are displaying a password in clear text at a potential point where the user is not aware they need to be in a 'secure' environment.
> Reproduce steps:
> 1. Open new OpenShift Application wizard
> 2. Sign in & proceed to next screen
> 3. Choose application cartridge (JBoss EAP 6 for instance) & proceed to next screen
> 4. Add embedded cartridge for database (mySQL 5.5 for instance) & proceed to next screen
> 5. Click next on set up project screen
> 6. Click finish on next screen
> 7 -> ISSUE HERE. Once app is created, pop-up is shown with mySQL database password shown in clear text. Screenshot: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s230/sh/cd8123fb-a400-4699-ad08-bcbc06f7b5...
> Expected: Password on this pop-up should be obscured.

adding Camel wont fix it for teiid, FSW and others.
We are adding stats to central but that will just record for luna so it will take a while before we can use those data.

> We are getting complaints users does not notice that they can install things like integration stack from software update page.
> Could we make this more clear onthe front page ?
> Maybe remove the ticketmonster example image and put "highlights" from central on this page instead ?

Yes, this is our fault. We should have made the N&N more clear for users and QE.
Sorry for that.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-17676) Angular Code Assist doesn't work for angular phonecat app
by Vlado Pakan (JIRA)
Vlado Pakan commented on JBIDE-17676:
-------------------------------------
It's clear for me now. I agree N&N are technically correct but it's not sufficient for documentation. Right now I know what Code Assist for Angular we support but also users should be able to find what they can expect from our tooling. When writing N&N we should look at it as users who are going to use JBT. I guess users are not supposed to search Jira for instructions how to use JBT.
Here is I think correct user scenario:
# Read N&N
# Install AngularJS
# Import project with Angular which user wants to develop
# Open web page with Angular expression in JBoss Tools HTML editor
# Invoke code assist for Angular expression as user can see on screenshot in N&N
ERROR: No code assist for Angular expression. User has to start search for what went wrong because he is not getting the same results as are written in N&N
ERROR: User has to search for steps 3. and 4. from Victor's comment to configure project properly.
Unless I missed some published info about our support for Angular this is quite complicated for users.
It's very hard for QE to test such a feature unless we have test scenario.
