[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-26582) Add support for Quarkus based applications
by Jeff MAURY (Jira)
Jeff MAURY created JBIDE-26582:
----------------------------------
Summary: Add support for Quarkus based applications
Key: JBIDE-26582
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-26582
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: openshift
Affects Versions: 4.11.0.Final
Reporter: Jeff MAURY
Fix For: 4.12.0.Final
We should support JBoss Tools based inner loop for Quarkus based applications.
In the first time support only OpenJDK based deployments as I'm not sure native image based deployments can support inner loop.
That would also probably means an update of the openJDK base image

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-26581) Visual page editor of jboss-tools should recognize “Named” annotation
by Nils Ehmke (Jira)
Nils Ehmke created JBIDE-26581:
----------------------------------
Summary: Visual page editor of jboss-tools should recognize “Named” annotation
Key: JBIDE-26581
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-26581
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: visual-page-editor-core
Affects Versions: 4.9.0.Final
Reporter: Nils Ehmke
Hello everyone,
We are using the visual page editor of the jboss-tools in our Eclipse (actually a Spring tool suite) for editing JSF2 files. We were suprised to learn that the editor would only recognize the backing beans that are annotated with the (deprecated) annotation _ManagedBean_, as we use only Spring-managed beans. We tried and use the JSR-330 annotation _Named_, but this is not recognized either. We do not want to add _ManagedBean_ just for the editor (especially as it may cause issues with other frameworks). Therefore the visual page editor should recognize the _NamedBean_ annotation or should be configurable to match different scenarios.
Thank you in advance!
